Being a big fan of deals (cos it can help me save $$), I managed to get a good deal to Batam Turi Beach Resort @ $99 for 2D1N (including ferry tickets and hotel transfer).
We boarded the ferry at Tanah Merah ferry terminal and it was around 1 hour ride.
There was a van from the resort to pick us up from the ferry terminal.
The moment we reached, they welcome us with a drink.
Checking in took a while and while waiting we were approached by another staff to sell us their spa package.
Typical Singaporean will try to bargain for more add on perks, we did and succeeded!
Felt a sense of achievement for getting free body scrub! LOL
Hence, no harm trying! *winks
We were able to see the sea from the lobby and it was really gorgeous.
Try to pick rooms nearer to the lobby and you won't regret.
It was a long walk from the lobby to the lift lobby.
Luckily, we were all in holiday mood so it was still bearable for us.
You are still able to see the sea from the lift lobby.
The rooms were very near one another and the resort was very quiet despite we went over the weekend.
The balcony from our room.
It was very relaxing to sit at the balcony overlooking the sea and swimming pool.
I can sit there for very long.
The room was not fantastic so don't expect too much but at least it was clean and spacious.
The bathroom was spacious too,
However, the bathroom do not have a bathtub (I love bathtub).
However, the bathroom do not have a bathtub (I love bathtub).
Closet looked decent too.
Not much choices of restaurant within the resort.
We decided to have our lunch at the Turi beach restaurant,
The prices were all in SGD and so expensive, considering we were in Indonesia!
I felt we got ripped off.
Food wise, nothing fantastic on their buffet.
After lunch is relaxing time.
The beach looked terrible with low tide.
With seaweeds all over.
However, the scenery around dusk was really pretty.
We ended the day with the spa massage and had a very good night sleep.
The 2nd day, after the international breakfast buffet (again nothing fantastic), we roamed around the resort.
The area looked so different with high tide and I really think it was beautiful.
The Jetty is a must, must explore spot. It was gorgeous!
It was such a pity they blocked the rest of the jetty, I guessed for safety reasons.
I couldn't imagine how breathtaking it would be walking towards the end.
The sea is border-less.
We stayed in the resort throughout so the food choices were very limited.
However, the scenery really added a lot of points.
Relaxing rating: 3.5 out of 5
